Our 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon will reveal an enticing aroma of bitter orange peel, tea leaves, bakers' chocolate, followed by ripe red cherries, red plum, black current and a touch of anise. On the palate, the wine's concentrated, black fruit and dried berry flavors are enriched by cedar, smoke, graphite and tar along with subtle vanilla accents, followed by a sweet wood finish. Delicious to drink now, this classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon will develop beautifully in bottle for another 5-7 years.

Displays alluring aromas of ripe red and dark cherries, red plum, black current, tea leaves, bakers' chocolate, shaded with hints of earth. The color is a dense ruby/purple, almost black to the rim. On the palate, the wine's concentrated cherry, black fruit and dried berry flavors are enriched by cedar, and subtle vanilla accents. Soft tannins and a beautifully smooth finish with notes of subtle well-integrated oak. Delicious to drink now, this classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon will develop beautifully in bottle for another 5-7 years.

2007 CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Early on, the 2007 vintage seems to have even more noticeable ripe red and black cherry characteristics then prior years. In addition to the fruity aromas, the 07 also displays layers of juicy berry, ripe plum and currant flavors. Concentrated and intense, much of which may have come from the lower crop yield on 07 as well as extending the maceration a little longer then the 06 or the 05 vintage. This is a full bodied, concentrated wine, with just a hint of bittersweet chocolate, black tea and vanilla that is smooth on the finish, ending with chewy tannins and fine structure. Supple now, this classic Cabernet wine will continue to soften and unfold in the bottle over the next 3-5 years, and promises to drink well for at least 10.
